How Do I Customize a Button in Elementor Pro?

One great thing about Elementor Pro buttons is their simplicity and versatility, allowing users to quickly create custom buttons with a wide range of creative options. Let’s take a look at the customization options and how you can turn your button into an effective call-to-action.

Content:

  • Type: The “Type” option lets you choose from a variety of button styles such as: Default, Info, Success, Warning, or Danger.
  • Text: This is where you input your desired text that you want your button to display.
  • Link: Here you can set the URL link for your button. If you’d like to link it to a certain page on your website, just simply type the name of that page in the “Link” section. If you’d like to link it to something other than your website, just simply copy and paste the desired URL into the link textbox. You can adjust how the link opens by clicking the “Link Settings” gear icon right beside the link textbox. This will let you decide whether you want your link to open in a new window or the current one.
  • Alignment: “Alignment” for buttons is just like all the other Elementor widgets. It allows you to align your button to the left, center, right, or justified in relation to its column.
  • Size: The “Size” option lets you choose from a variety of button sizes such as: Extra Small, Small, Medium, Large, or Extra Large.
  • Icon: The “Icon” option allows you to include an icon in your button. For example, if you created a button that says “Learn More” it may be worthwhile to include an arrow icon. Using icons in your buttons can be a great way to encourage engagement. If an icon is chosen, you will also have the option to display it before or after the text.
  • Icon Spacing: “Icon Spacing” is another self-explanatory setting. It allows you to adjust the amount of space that’s between your icon and button text.
  • Button ID: The “Button ID” is optional. It is a unique identifier assigned to each button that can be used for a variety of purposes, such as tracking clicks, creating custom links or anchors, or triggering specific actions.

Style:

  • Typography: The “Typography” option gives you a full range of customization for your button’s text. This is where you can adjust the text’s font, size, style, spacing, etc.
  • Text Shadow: The “Text Shadow” option allows you to add a shadow and blue to your button’s text.
  • Hover: The “Hover” section is where you can change the color of your button when it’s hovered over with a mouse or cursor. You also have the ability to add hover animations as well to help your button stand out. Choose from a variety of options such as Grow, Shrink, Pulse, and much more.
  • Text Color: Simply change the color of your button’s text here.
  • Background Type: The “Background Type” is where you can change the color of the button whether it’s a solid color or gradient.
  • Border Type & Radius: Here is where you can choose between a variety of Borders for your button, as well as adjust the buttons border radius to control corner roundness.
  • Box Shadow:  The “Box Shadow” option allows you to create a shadow from your button. You also have the ability to adjust it’s direction, blur, and color.
  • Padding: “Padding” allows you to adjust the space inside of your button and can be used to adjust heights and widths of buttons.
